From Providence College You Tube Channel
There is a strong connection between Sylvia Nicolas and Providence College. She created the marvelous set of stained glass windows (45 in all) that chronicle the life of St. Dominic for the College's St. Dominic Chapel, which was dedicated in 2001. She also produced several sculptural works for the new Chapel—a Crucifixion and a series of reliefs showing the Stations of the Cross. The College awarded Sylvia Nicolas an honorary Doctorate in Fine Arts that year.Posted by Tom at October 21, 2010 12:26 PM
