The Girls are fine. Just thought you'd want to know. Thanks for your support during my first mammogram dearies.
Good news is nothing discernable, no cancer, no cysts, etc. was found. Bad news is I still don't know what is causing the slight pain. If it becomes persistent, then I have to go back. And of course they want me to go in yearly. (we'll see)
More good news: she (dr.) recommended evening primrose oil and vit E, because these help with cysts, so may help my mysterious malady
Not the worst procedure I've ever had, but not particularly fun. Nothing to run screaming about. And I found out they DO do the same to men's jewels on occasion. (I had remarked that they would probably find a better way if it was men who had to go through this diagnostic!)
The weirdest part, for me, while in the waiting room was knowing that women coming out had just been squeezed. And when I left, I had selfconsciously become one of "them". Yet another threshold this year
Could be worse.
Love and blessings,
v
